Latin inscription at the base attributed to the 12th Century poet Hugh Primas of Orleans, translates:

"Those whom the snake's poison ravaged with doomed pleasure

The wondrous blood of Christ has washed with gentleness"

G K Chesterton wrote a book of meditation on these Brangwyn  images.
Each station measures 90cm wide by 80cm high.

Kensal Rise Remarkable Cast and Wrought Iron Screens*

This used to be the main transept metal iron screen in The Church of the Transfiguration, Kensal Rise, London.

It is a riot of arches, flowers, corsses and symbols all made from steel

In addition there are extra flowers which go on top of each of these two sections not showns here

As you might be able to tell, this was originally taller but we have chopped it down to a more manageable size for reasons of storage and transport
